  September's Recipe Of The Month

Fruit and Nut Bread

250g plain flour
1tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
1tsp sugar
100g raisins
100g walnuts
500mls butter milk

1.     Preheat oven to 150°C and grease the bread tin
2. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl
3. Pour into the greased bread tin and bake for 60 minutes
4. Once baked, remove from the tin and leave to cool on a rack.
